A handheld device that plays videos. The term may refer to lightweight flash memory or hard disk MP4 players that download video content from a computer or via Wi-Fi. Such devices often support photos, music files, and if they include general-purpose Web browsing, they may be called "Internet tablets" or "Internet media tablets."
