A storage tube having a single electron gun and a dielectric storage medium consisting of a sheet of mica sandwiched between a continuous metal backing plate and a fine-mesh screen; used in simple delay schemes, signal-to-noise improvement, signal comparison, and conversion of signal-time bases. Also known as barrier-grid storage tube.
