1. Commerce an order made out for goods, provisions, etc., that duplicates a previous order
2. Music a passage that is an exact restatement of the passage preceding it

Repeat

 

an entire pattern that is repeated over and over again in a fabric weave or knit, in embroidery, or in a carpet. The order in which the yarns are woven is usually repeated along both the width and the length of the fabric in each subsequent repeat. The number of warp yarns after which all the preceding weaves of the warp yarns begin to be repeated in the previous order is called the warp repeat; similarly, there is a weft repeat. A rectangle composed of warp and weft yarns, the number of which is equal to the corresponding repeats, is called the repeat of the fabric’s weave.
