The columnar jointed basalts in rock flowage stratum [P.sub.2][[beta].sup.3.sub.3], where the experimental cavity is located, are ash black ones whose columns are 1~5m long, 15~25 cm in diameter, and 70[degrees]~85[degrees] in dip angle; see Figure 5 for specific model.
