Paper ruled with two sets of mutually perpendicular, parallel lines, one set being spaced according to the logarithms of consecutive numbers, and the other set uniformly spaced. Also known as ratio paper.

a specially ruled paper used to plot graphs of functions. When plotted on semilogarithmic coordinate paper, such functions often acquire extremely simple and obvious forms, for example, a straight line (see).
