single-point refueling
single-point refueling
A method of refueling an aircraft from a single point. The fueling hose is attached to this point, and the correct tank valves are opened. Single-point refueling is normally referred to as pressure refueling. However, some aircraft are gravity refueled through a single point. See central refueling system.
