In this contribution, the quadrature
sinusoidal oscillator using voltage differencing current conveyor as active element is presented.
The fundamental block of an observer is derived from recursive discrete time
sinusoidal oscillator. Any periodic sinusoidal signal can be modeled as the output of the
sinusoidal oscillator.
Hence the topic of quadrature
sinusoidal oscillator design and implementation with better quality is receiving considerable research interest at present.
The proposed simple second-order
sinusoidal oscillator fulfils multiphase requirements (produces 45, 90, 135 and 180 degree phase shifts simultaneously) and can work also as the quadrature type.
The proposed
sinusoidal oscillator has a simple topology and provides voltage-mode and current-mode operation with electronically tunable properties.
The user has the option to use the internal
sinusoidal oscillator set at 100 Hz or to use an external oscillator with frequencies from 50 to 2 KHz.
In [11], an electronically controllable explicit current-mode
sinusoidal oscillator using single VDTA and in [12] an electronically controllable fully uncoupled
sinusoidal oscillator using two VDTAs have been presented.
