social operating system

A software platform that focuses on a person's relationships with others. This is an emerging model that integrates social networking sites with email, Web surfing and other common forms of digital communications that can be analyzed and evaluated. Expected to create some hits and many misses, this concept is in the very early stages. See OpenSocial and social networking site.
