(Steel), a monthly scientific-technical and trade magazine; organ of the Ministry of Ferrous Metallurgy of the USSR and of the Central Board of the Scientific and Technical Society of Ferrous Metallurgy. Published in Moscow since 1941, the magazine covers Soviet and foreign scientific achievements in ferrous metallurgy and deals with questions on new technology and production processes and the economics and organization of production. Circulation, 11,000 (1975). Stal’ is published in the German Democratic Republic in German and in Great Britain in English.
