Without Order-tier characters, the taxa grouped out into smaller clades in cladogram 2 (not shown) and based on their Suborder
or Great Group characters.
They are constituted by typical taxa of the Boreal Realm, on which representatives of the suborder
Lagenina are the most abundant components (Haynes, 1981; Murray, 1989), usually accompanied by variable percentages of representatives of the suborders
Textulariina, Spirillinina, Miliolina, Robertinina and Rotaliina depending on paleoecological conditions.
Conducting the analyses within suborders
, Anisoptera had a significantly higher proportion of uncommon/rare species that primarily inhabited lotic habits ([chi square] = 11.0, df = 1, P = 0.0009), whereas Zygoptera did not ([chi square] = 0.22, df = 1, P = 0.66).
I collected 121 samples of spiders and insects containing 1,490 specimens in 9 orders or suborders
, 33 families, and 43 subfamilies or genera (Table 1).
The 16 superfamilies and 168 families of extant beetles are separated into four suborders
: Adephaga (~35,000 species), Archostemata (~35 species), Myxophaga (~65 species), and Polyphaga (~315,000 species) (Lawrence and Newton, 1995; Arnett and Thomas, 2000; Arnett et al., 2002; Beutel and Leschen, 2005).
Another measure of accuracy used is the Euclidean distance from each prediction grid location to the closest soil profile observation which has the same abridged Suborder
The naming of the four highest categories (order, suborder
, great group, subgroup) is systematic.
Based on these judgements the following new classes within the Redoxic and Oxyaquic Hydrosols are proposed: Supra acidic-Subsulfidic first, then Peaty-Subsulfidic before the proposed Peaty-Supra acidic Subgroup; Melanic-Subsulfidic before the MelanicBleached Subgroup; Acidic-Subsulfidic before the proposed Acidic-Supra acidic Subgroup; Sodic-Subsulfidic before the proposed Sodic-Supra acidic Subgroup; and Subsulfidic before the proposed Supra acidic Suborder
. The addition of a Subsulfidic Subgroup to the other Suborders
of the Hydrosols, or of the Organosols, is not required because such horizons were not found in the analysis of the risk map survey data.
Only 5 species have been previously recorded in Iran, all belonging to the genus Liposcelis Motschulsky 1852, from Liposcelididae, infraorder Nanopsocetae and suborder
