We removed skin samples from the area above the suprascapula. The skin samples were sectioned histologically (5[micron]), stretched in warm water 30 to 60 seconds prior to placing them on slides, and they were then stained with hematoxilin-eosin (Wessner 1960).
The propterygium (PPG) is tubular and rectilinear in shape, and extends to the level of suprascapula (Figure 1).
