swipe typing

Typing on a touchscreen keyboard by swiping the finger from key to key. Also called "glide typing," after getting used to it, many people feel swipe typing offers a much faster way to enter text. Swipe typing displays the word it detects the user is entering (predictive text) to ensure it is the correct word, and it may also use sentence completion to speed up the process. See predictive text.
