Symploce

 

a stylistic device consisting of the repetition of beginning and end words in two or more lines of verse or parts of a sentence; a combination of anaphora and epistrophe. An example is Vo pole berezon’ka stoiala, Vo pole kudriavaia stoiala (In the field a little birch stood, In the field a curly birch stood).
