system resources

system resources

(1) In a computer system, system resources are the components that provide its inherent capabilities and contribute to its overall performance. System memory, cache memory, hard disk space, IRQs and DMA channels are examples.

(2) In an operating system, system resources are internal tables and pointers set up to keep track of running applications. They may be limited by hardware resources, but are often as not arbitrary limitations within the software itself. See Windows memory limitation.

Including non-banks, the total financial system resources grew by 9.30 percent to P18.95 trillion.
The prior BSP approval requirement for purely private sector loans (that is, those without guarantee from/exposure of any public sector entity) was lifted, such that these loans now only need to be registered with the BSP to allow use of banking system resources for loan payments.
Network Operators leverage 6WIND Virtual Accelerator to scale and optimize system resources providing virtual applications with bare metal performance without resorting to hardware workarounds such as SR-IOV or PCI passthrough that break virtualization.
The new cores also offer up to 70% more encryption performance to lessen the drain on system resources while maintaining reliable a security solution.
It also enables economical use of system resources to provide excellent performance.

From fully tested, reusable sample code to blending in templates and system resources, displaying dialogs and integrating user input, and more, this teaches how to not only build an app, but manage application resources and build networking support.
They also consume fewer system resources, according to the developer.
Optimized for mobile handsets and tablets, the KXTI9 inertial sensor from Kionix offers a reduction in active power, and combines a FIFO buffer with an improved embedded algorithm engine to develop new applications with minimal impact on system resources. Eliminating the engine and buffer to offer low active and standby power, the device is pin-and register-compatible with the Kionix KXTF9, and offers a 43 percent reduction in power consumption in 12-bit mode (325 [micro]A) and 56 percent lower power in 8-bit operation (100 [micro]A) versus the KXTF9.
The provision of menstrual regulation--through outpatient services, using midlevel providers, using manual vacuum aspiration and providing integrated contraceptive services--averts unsafe abortion and associated maternal morbidity and mortality, and saves scarce health system resources. Increasing access to menstrual regulation would enable more women to obtain much-needed care and health system resources to be used more efficiently.
