takeoff and initial climb phase

As it pertains to helicopters, that part of the flight from the start of takeoff to 30 m above the elevation of FATO, if the flight is planned to exceed this height, or to the end of the climb in other cases (ICAO). FATO stands for final approach and takeoff areas.
