tilt angle

[′tilt ‚aŋ·gəl]
(electromagnetism)
The angle between the axis of radiation of a radar beam in the vertical plane and a reference axis (normally the horizontal).

tilt angle

An angle between the axis of an air camera and an aircraft's vertical axis. Normally, it is the angle at the perspective center between the photograph perpendicular and the plumb line. See tilted photograph.

It can be observed in Figure 8(A) that, when the 5 degrees tilted palatal rugae image are corrected, the first correction is a trial process, which is quite different from the known tilt angle. And with the increase of correction times, the correction angle gradually approaches 5 degrees, and fluctuates in a small range from top to bottom, and the correction angle gradually becomes stable.
Currently, various angles have been used to describe the relative positions of picks to their drum and rock surface cut by them and/or evaluate their individual and collective cutting performance, including the attack angle, clearance angle, rake angle, tilt angle, and wrap angle.
In view of the fact that both Scheimpflug imaging systems employed here just simply rotate around one single axis, the tilt angle rotating around the other axis is assumed to be 0[degrees].
Experiments are carried out at various heat fluxes and three different tilt angles. The position of the heat pipe tilt angle is shown in Figure 4.
In GAHPs with low tilt angle, the liquid film (hydrodynamic stratification of the liquid flow downwards to the liquid pool in the evaporator) does not touch the entire wall surface of the evaporator section.
The statistical analysis of tilt angles of the detected lines around each reference orientation is the output of this stage and includes the mean tilts and the standard errors around the means for each scale of the DoG edge map.
Nadoushan and Assadian [19] presented a novel technique to design RGT orbit with desired revisit time and optimal tilt angle; their calculation is based on the analyses of subcycles.
A horizontal tilt angle of 2.85[degrees] and a horizontal decentration length of 0.50 mm and a vertical tilt angle of 1.5[degrees] and a vertical decentration length of 0.47 mm were determined from the Scheimpflug images.
At the swash plate tilt angle of 15[degrees] in motor mode, varying pressure full operating pressure range and assuming the piston position from 0[degrees] to 135[degrees] concerning the starting position, capsize of the slipper was not recorded, though the friction force increases significantly at 270[degrees], which agrees with the decreasing pressing force of the hydrostatic bearing [8].
As you can see, the tilt angle, [phi], is obtained with simple shifting and addition operations only by this proposed algorithm.
In this paper, we introduce a general analytical framework for investigating the sum rate of Ricean/lognormal (RC-LN) 3D-MIMO systems with ZF receivers by exploiting BS antenna tilt angle. We derive a lower bound sum rate expression for the whole SNR regime, and further study the asymptotic approximation of the sum rate to gain more insights.
