touchless user interface

Commanding the computer via body motion and gestures without physically touching a keyboard, mouse or screen. For example, Microsoft's Kinect is a touchless game interface. Although not tethered to the computer by a cord, products such as the Wii are not touchless. They use a wireless controller that is handheld. See Kinect and Wii.
