Rotor RPM slowing down as collective pitch is increased.
The initial total fall in a helicopter rotor RPM when the collective pitch is increased within the normal-powered flight range. This fall in RPM is in spite of the increase in fuel flow and power. The transient droop is dependent on the amount by which the collective-pitch lever is raised.
