At lower pH values, molybdate and tungstate
undergo condensation reactions and form larger complex oxoanions, but may still preserve their solubility (Pope 1983).
In this work, tungstate
or vanadate-doped PPy was synthesized on the surface of A1 flakes by employing water as a reaction medium.
The peak at 714.61 [cm.sup.-1] was interpreted as an antisymmetric bridging mode, associated with the tungstate
chains [21, 22].
"A detailed description of the pathways involved in the pancreatic effects of tungstate
is provided in our paper.
The reaction was stopped by the addition of 100 [micro]l of sodium tungstate
solution (100 g/l) and 100 [micro]l of sulfuric acid (0.33 mmol/l); the eppendorf flask was mixed for 10 s, following addition of 1000 [micro]l of distilled water.
was the phosphor of choice until rare-earth screens became widely available.
We treated 200 [micro]L of plasma, calibrator, or quality-control sample with 20 [micro]L of perchloric acid (150 g/L), 20 [micro]L of sodium tungstate
(250 g/L), and 100 [micro]L of internal standard (15 mg/L MPAC in acetonitrile) as described previously (9).
