underrunWhen writing to a CD-R disc, the inability of the computer to keep up with the recording process. There are numerous causes. The data may be coming from a slow CD drive or another slow source. The CPU may have limited memory, have too many open applications, or the drivers may be out-of-date. See thermal recalibration and coaster.
