undo sendA feature of an email program that allows the user to discard a message after clicking the Send button so that it never reaches the user. In 2015, Google added this capability, allowing users up to 30 seconds to change their minds. Contrast with Outlook recall. See ohnosecond.

How to use Gmail's Undo Send
Feature on Your iPhone:
Google inserted the "undo send
" feature last month into an email management application called "Inbox" designed for mobile devices.
Wong suggests that in Outlook, users can automatically delay the delivery of the emails as per desired from one to five minutes, while Gmail users can activate the Undo Send
option from the Settings menu.
You have 30 seconds to click "Undo Send
,'' and the email will come back, ready to be deleted or changed.
