variable-flow valve

variable-flow valve

A valve that permits the full flow of fluid in one direction and restricts it in the other direction. It may be fitted in the undercarriage circuit, permitting quick retraction and slow extension of the undercarriage. An orifice check valve is an example of a variable flow valve. See orifice check valve.
