For each of the cases reported in Table 3, Table 4 and Table 5 show the comparison among the numerical results obtained by the full-wave analysis ([f.sub.FW], [Q.sub.FW]) [8], our empirical model ([f.sub.re], [Q.sub.re]) and the classical theory of the metallic
waveguide cavity ([f.sub.rc], [Q.sub.rc]) [17].
Since the axes of the vibrators and slot lie in {x0y} plane, interaction between the vibrators and the slot over the
waveguide cavity is absent (Figure 1).
A computer model was set up to study the filling process in the
waveguide cavity during through-thickness embossing.
The existing Boundary Contour Mode Matching (BCMM) method for the computation of integrated
waveguide cavity structures with inherent milling radii has been extended.
In Figure 5, it can be pointed out that, as the side length of the substrate square [W.sub.s] increases, the resonant frequency decreases due to the increase of the square
waveguide cavity. In Figure 6, it is shown that the resonant frequency increases with the increase of the slot square width [W.sub.c].
