The first 700 metres of the winze
will be raisebored down to the 1,900-metre level and then slashed and extended beyond that to the 2,650-metre level using conventional shaft sinking technology.

area on the 6850 level.
"The limitations are the cost and planning involved to manufacture various sized panels with a solid frame and blocking, allowing for traditional hardware and fastening methods to be used," says Winze
. "This presents a barrier for those who can justify using these materials.

#2-4 and underground diamond drilling from level 3 indicate at least two closely spaced faults with upward throws of 5 and 8 m to the west, intersecting level 4 near section 4875N.
