Kovzha

 

a river in the northwestern part of Vologda Oblast, RSFSR. The river originates in Lake Kovzha and flows into Lake Beloe. Length, 86 km; basin area, 5,000 sq km. The Kovzha River is part of the V. I. Lenin Volga-Baltic Waterway.
