LoRa
(1) (LOng RANge) An early navigation system. See LORAN.
(2) (LOngRAnge) A low-power, low-speed wireless network developed by Semtech. Developed in the mid-2010s primarily for Industrial IoT applications with a range of approximately 4-8 miles, LoRa operates between 433MHz and 923MHz (902-928MHz in North America).
