Location:4 miles east of Ellensburg in the center of the state.
Facilities:Picnic area, trails, museum, working pioneer farm, guided tours.
Activities:Hiking, fishing, interpretive activities, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing.
Special Features:Olmstead Place is one of the first homesteads in the Kittitas Valley. The original 1875 log cabin and 1908 farmhouse (with the family's furnishings intact) are still standing, as are most of the outbuildings. Guided tours are available.
