Ordesa

 

a national park in Spain, in the province of Huesca. Area, 2,050 hectares (1974). The Ordesa National Park was established in 1918 for the preservation of the picturesque landscapes of the central Pyrenees, including the valley of the Ordesa River, which has rich vegetation (rare and relict species) and diverse fauna (Spanish ibex, chamois, eagles, vultures).
