PoE lighting

(Power Over Ethernet lighting) PoE-based LED lights use DC current from the Ethernet cable. As a result, they are more efficient than the LED bulbs that screw into standard AC Edison sockets and require AC to DC conversion within each bulb housing. See PoE, LED bulb and Edison base.
