Location:16 miles north of Coulee City, Washington.
Facilities:26 standard campsites, 100 utility campsites, 12 primitive campsites, 6 showers (4 @di), hiking trails (13 miles), bike trails, horse trails, beach access, 7 boat launches, dock, ball field.
Activities:Camping, boating, fishing, swimming, water-skiing, cross-country skiing, horseback riding, rock climbing, ice climbing, hiking, biking, bird watching.
Special Features:Steamboat Rock is a butte that rises 800 feet above Banks Lake and has a surface area of 600 acres. This columnar basalt rock, which dominates the park, has long been used as a natural landmark, first by nomadic native tribes, later by pioneers, and today by military aircraft pilots on training missions.
