If the adjacent plane is close to the split plane and there is a lot of overlap area on each side of the split, the ground impedance will be quite low, and most of the
ground current will follow that path.
Multiple ground paths set up
ground currents traveling in different directions.
The NCP5915x, NCP5930x, and NCP5830x series are high precision, very low dropout, low
ground current voltage regulators that are capable of providing large load currents with a typical dropout voltage lower than 300mV.
As mentioned in Section 2, by achieving the orthogonal
ground current path with respect to that from Antenna 2, the mutual coupling between the LTE MIMO antenna elements can be reduced.
While rim arrays were used to prevent lightning strikes to floating roof storage tanks, multiple Retractable Grounding Assemblies [TM] were deployed to prevent arcing at the gap between the seal of the floating roof and the tank wall, caused by lightning storm and
ground current activity.
Locating and correcting the
ground current sources (code violations or shorts) should solve excessive AC power magnetic fields emanating from the building steel, HVAC ducts, metal pipes or conduits.
The preferred ICT metrology, shown in Figure 1, uses a voltage source as a stimulus generator (Vs) and a transimpedance amplifier or a virtual
ground current meter to detect the current ([I.sub.x]) that flows through the unknown device (Zx).
If a wave is launched from the end of the ACPW, it creates a
ground current I.
* Lightning strikes produce
ground currents in the area surrounding a lightning strike.
