It enables optimisation of laser power for the depth of each image plane, and for fast 'flyback' beam blanking when unidirectional
raster scanning is required.
The sample is placed under the probe to ensure maintenance of laser illumination and probe alignment during the
raster scanning of the sample.
The acquisition time for each image was approximately 10 hours, limited primarily by the electronics of the
raster scanning.
En face imaging relies upon acquisition of a high number of B-Scans in a dense
raster scanning pattern, hence the development of faster SD-OCT and SS-OCT systems has allowed production of useful en face images.
But there are few reports about structural changes for KDP crystals during the
raster scanning conditioning process.
Due to recent improvements in OCT technology that allow rapid acquisition of multiple B-scans and dense
raster scanning, en face OCT imaging has emerged as a new imaging modality for visualization of retinal structure [8-18].
The second is photoacoustic microscopy (PAM) or macroscopy, which utilizes direct point by point detection and
raster scanning over an object to render an image.
The DSP allows high-speed
raster scanning of the incident radiation, which is focused to a small waist onto the 9mm (2), gold-coated, MEMS mirror surface, while simultaneously acquiring an undistorted, high spatial-resolution image of an object.
