[′sig·mə ‚fəŋk·shən] (thermodynamics)
A property of a mixture of air and water vapor, equal to the difference between the enthalpy and the product of the specific humidity and the enthalpy of water (liquid) at the thermodynamic wet-bulb temperature; it is constant for constant barometric pressure and thermodynamic wet-bulb temperature.
