Facilities:Housekeeping cabins, campground, picnic areas, trails, scenic lookouts, public hunting area, food concession, museum.
Activities:Tent and trailer camping, hiking, nature study, pig hunting, trout fishing (seasonal), plum picking (seasonal).
Special Features:Park adjoins Waimea Canyon State Park (see separate entry) and offers spectacular views of lush Kalalau Valley from a lookout at 4,000 feet elevation. The park is an excellent area for learning about native plants and rain forest birds.
