Historic building

A building that has been recognized and documented as having historic significance, or part of a historic district, especially those listed in a register or inventory of historic places.

A building that is listed or is eligible for listing in the US National Register of Historic Places, or in equivalent registers of any country, state, shire, county, or locality.
